I am officially the mother of 4 again. OK, I have been the mother of 4 for over 13 months now, but it seems so different when the boys are at school compared to having all 4 home 24-7. Last week was the first week with all of us home. To be completely honest there were moments when this mother of 4 longed to have only the 2 for awhile, but Jesus helped me and this week I have new perspective.
I love my kids, all 4 of them, and I am so Blessed by them. There are just moments when I need to step back and remind myself of the Blessings they are! I think we're suppose to do that. I wouldn't want to take them for granted, so I will be reminded of their Blessing!
We pretty much stayed at home last week. With the exception of 1 evening meeting, there wasn't much planned and even that we did as a family.
We took some time to get the boys into a summer routine and a chore chart and figure out what that would mean for the summer months (more on that in a future post).
As you know, if you frequent this blog, I even took a little break from my usual blogging schedule. I am thinking it will be a lot more relaxed this summer, but I do want to keep updated on the summer as I know it will go by so quickly.
Below are a few pictures I snapped over the last week or so.
Maddie's not really protesting the "cowgirl" look, she is just getting her balance. She's not a huge hat fan though.
"Mr. Cool" is just that, Cool! Ronnie struggled with the whole change in schedules (school being out). He is just too much like his momma. If the school schedule works, why change it? He did much better once we got into a "new" morning routine.
She's just cute and I thought I'd show you - in case you forgot from 2 pictures ago! Have I ever mentioned on this blog how fun a girl is?!?

Then there is ornery, I mean Eli. Don't let those eyes draw you in, he's 97% stinker and the rest BOY!
For some reason, I don't have a picture of just Nathaniel for the post today. Not sure why. I am amazed almost daily at Nathaniel's sensitivity. He sure does love his siblings. I'm daily also reminded of his age too. He can get into more things than I thought were humanly possible.

These next 2 are those moments you wish you could capture for a lifetime. They really do love each other, despite all the fights and competitions and blood, etc.
