It is once again time to Can our Vegetables. Yesterday it was Green Beans. Ron had some help picking them, although I think more plants got trampled than not - so he may stick to picking on his own for the remainder of the season.
The help was sparse and well, led to other things...like pulling kids out of buckets.
The kids did help with cleaning. They are still learning the process or maybe they think if they do a poor job they won't have to do it anymore. I seem to remember a certain girl thinking that a few years back!!
Maddie even got in on the helping. She sorted after the boys were done. The paci was to prevent tasting before cooking. Beans were falling out of her dress all around the house, but she had fun with it!

Many hours later - the finished product. It really did take ALL day, but we got 26 pints of beans today!
