Seven years ago today, at 10:40am in Jackson, Mississippi, Ronnie Lee Adkins III joined our family. I'm a little late in posting for today, but I was hoping to put pictures of "his" day. Of course my computer is not working with me tonight, so I'll post his birthday blog and then more pictures later of his day.
That June morning seven years ago was a rough one for Ron and I. Ronnie had a very traumatic delivery and we thought he would have some serious lasting problems. Thankfully Jesus was there that morning and continues to watch over and protect our 7 year old. It seems to weird to think he is seven. He is growing up so fast.
Ronnie is a good kid. He loves ALL sports and would love to be outside all day long. He loves competition and will make anything competitive. I notice little things all the time that would indicate he is growing up, but I'm so thankful that even tonight as I tucked him in - he leaned over and kissed me!
