Gold

Nathaniel came home from school, about a month ago, so excited. He couldn't wait to show us what he had found on the playground. He quickly pulled something out of his book bag and hid it until everyone was ready to see...

"It's gold," he proclaimed. "I found it on the playground and I brought it home to you and dad." We quickly went down to daddy's office to show him the find. Again he announced, "it's gold".

Of course we accepted his very generous gift. (Ron and I each took a piece of gold to keep in our offices). We did have to explain that while it did look great, it was in fact, not gold. I will treasure it though. This thoughtful little man wanted to help out with our financial needs, so he brought home what he knew would be helpful...gold. What a generous guy. Just look into those big brown eyes, they are hard to resist!

Eli was pretty excited too - he had never seen gold before!
