Our Buckeyes are the Sugar Bowl Champs!
Go Buckeyes!
First let me just say that an 8:30 (or later) start to a very important bowl game - is ridiculous. If I were doing it - I'd put it on the weekend - so all the fans could watch, but nobody ask me, so I'm sure that won't be changing anytime soon.
After less than a half hour of actual game, the boys were put to bed. Yes, there were even tears and promises to wake children after the big victory!
After the first half, I was drooping and was ready for bed too! I managed to see the first couple of plays before I heard my bed calling my name!
The one true and devoted fan in our home stayed up until 1am in order to give a full report at breakfast!
So our Buckeyes won. Yes even amid controversy and craziness, they won.
And one more thing - If anyone had asked me, I would have picked Heyward as the player of the game, just saying! If you watched, you would probably agree!
Another Buckeye Season come and gone. Now we have to give up our cable :(
