It's so hard to believe that our Ronnie Lee III is 8 years old! It seems like just yesterday I was carrying him around in my belly wondering when he would make his appearance into this world! Now here he is 8 years old and so big!
He will always be our Ronnie Lee! Up until the time Ronnie was born his daddy was still called "Ronnie". So no matter how big you get Ronnie, you'll always be your Momma's "Ronnie Lee"!
Ronnie took some time today to talk to all his grandparents. He was also pretty excited to wear his new jersey from Grandpa and Grandma Adkins !He is so proud of that jersey!
So Ronnie is many things to us, He's...
a dancer
(I couldn't believe I got this picture, he asked Maddie if she wanted to dance, then told her how to put her hands - too cute)
...a teacher
...a big brother
...a silly boy
...a thinker (like his daddy)
...an Indians fan (could you tell he liked them?)
...a grandson (more phone calls!)
But most of all he's our Ronnie, a young man growing daily both physically, emotionally and spiritually! Ronnie, we are so proud of the young man you are becoming! We are excited to see what Jesus has in store for you in the upcoming year! Remember to keep reading your Bible and living for Jesus!
Ronnie got a couple of gifts, believe it or not, all focused on baseball!
He got to try out his new bat and ball. (I'll post more of our batting cage trip tomorrow)
He even wanted his cake to be of his favorite team! I have to admit this was one of the hardest cakes I have done, but that look on his face made the many hours worth it!
