Gulf Shores - Family

The week between Christmas and New Years we were invited again, by my parents, to join the family in Gulf Shores, Alabama! The boys were so excited, remembering the fun from last year. Maddie was excited because they were excited! She would get to see, "my beach".

All of us getting together was made possible by these 2! They were pretty excited to host all 18 of us! They rented a house just off the beach, but we were fortunate enough to cross the street and be on the beach!

Pap (as he's lovingly referred to by 8 who were in attendance and 2 more who will when they begin talking) was not short on entertainment!

All the cousins enjoyed being together. Here the younger 3 girls wait their turn to use the remote control boat in the pool.

This is honestly the reason we were all invited to the Gulf!

The Grand kids were the reason we ALL got to come!

There was entertaining by all though, here Elsie and Lucy practice some of their "dance moves".

Of course I took every opportunity to get that "good picture" of the 4!

Maddie loves her cousin Terra!

The little girls enjoyed some play dough, while the twins (in the background) got ready for the day!

The newest additions to the family!

Sophie was ready, Chloe wanted a little more time to get prepared before the picture!

Pap enjoyed reading on the porch!

Maddie joined him one particular morning (although the sun was a bit bright)!

Aunt Tonya hooked up all the girls so they could be princesses together. They all had tiara's, wands, necklaces, bracelets and rings!

Grandma took advantage of several opportunities to read to the grand kids - who love it just as much as her!

Maddie begged for her painting time with Aunt Tonya and was so pleased when it finally happened!

still trying!

This one was "slightly" posed. Grandma was reading to the 8 Big Kids and Pap asked that the babies be added for a group picture! It won't be long and they'll all coming running to hear Grandma reading to them.

A fun surprise was when Pap had Fred and Freida devotions planned for the kids!

I think all 8 of them looked forward to these and couldn't wait for the next devotion!

Pap, here's your proof that what you said through Fred and Freida got through. All 4 of mine sitting and reading their little Bibles!

We had a great time together on the Beach of Gulf Shores!

It's not the greatest picture quality, but I did get all 10 together!

Their faces say it all!

We had a great time as a family on the beach!
