A Date

On Saturday I finally scheduled to get Eli's 4 year pictures taken. The problem was that I scheduled them at 1pm and the place we go it about 40 minutes away. So we decided to go get groceries, then pictures then a date lunch! Eli was so excited! We were going out - just the 2 of us! He could hardly contain himself!

He did so well. We got all our groceries and he kept getting looks from other shoppers. He looked so handsome in the tie and shirt (he picked out). He was quite the adorable 4 year old. So then we go in about 20 minutes early for pictures and got in right away. Eli did wonderfully, listened to the photographer and smiled so sweetly! He was perfect.

Then I let him pick where he would like to eat. McD's, Wendy's BK, DQ - then he saw Subway! I kept thinking, what if he won't eat it. Ron and I love Subway, but the kids aren't big on deli meat. But of course, he was being a big boy. He ordered a Turkey sub with cheese and lettuce and even wanted some dressing. We couldn't forget the cookie!

So my handsome 4 year old and I had a date and we had a wonderful time!
