So the last few days have been crazy. Yesterday Maddie and I met my little niece, Lucy, for the first time. She is almost 8 months old and adorable. We met her in the hospital waiting room right before mom's surgery. I also got to hug my sister, which was long overdue. I love her!
Mom did well. The surgery went well and they removed the lump and the lymph node. Now we are in wait mode. We should know more by Monday.
I'm very thankful I could go and help mom and dad out for a day. All of this is so new and we are trying to take it one day at a time.
Jesus helped us yesterday and will continue to lead and guide us! We are thankful for that.
My dad told the doctor that he had people on at least 3 continents praying for him as he operated on mom - He is a Christian man and was appreciative!
Thank you to all of you who were praying for my mom and the surgery yesterday. She has felt your prayers and we covet them. Thanks!
We hope for a big Family Reunion this weekend, weather permitting - I'll post lots of pictures afterwards!
