Teacher in Training

On Friday, Maddie got to read a book to her class!  This was an AR award because of all the AR points she has earned!  She was so excited to get to read and I was pretty excited because the date was set for Friday and I would be there to volunteer! :)

Maddie practices being a teacher a lot at home, so it wasn't hard for her to be up front and hold the book so that everyone could see the pictures, then show them when she finished the page!

She really did great!  I was so proud.  I think Miss Keil was pretty proud of her too!
Nice Job Miss Maddie - teacher in training!

Catching Up

It doesn't seem to matter how hard I try - I can't seem to slow life down.  Here we are again, at a new month and I haven't posted in weeks!  I'll try to catch up on this one post, lots going on around the Adkins home.

There is never a dull moment around here.  These 2 are soooo much alike, although Ronnie doesn't like to admit it - TWINS!

Behind that ball is our little E!  He got the opportunity to play in Lil' Hoopsters this year and loved.  It was put on by the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and is a Saturday morning 4 week, 1 hour basketball camp!

They do it for boys and girls, below are the boys.

Eli was pretty excited too as his last week he got a sock monkey with the following attached to it:
S - saved
O - obedient
C -Christian
K -kid

A couple of weeks ago now, was Pp week for the babysitting kids!
We did puzzles...

Somehow I missed a picture of our pajama day, but I got the pizza party!  We had lots of fun with the letter Pp!

Then last week this came:
Maddie now has a passport!  She and I have been invited to join my mom on a trip to Scotland to see my sister (and family) for her birthday!  We are both super excited about this trip!

Then I also had a 7 hour date - can't say I do that very often!

At least that is what this little guy called it!  He had a doctor's appointment last week that turned into 3 doc. appts. that resulted in us being gone for 7 hours!  To Eli that is a 7 hour date with his Momma - I love this little man!

So you are caught up for now - more to come!
