Preacher Meal

After Church on Sunday, Mom and Dad took us out for lunch!  I snapped this picture just after Eli returned from the buffet with this declaration:

"This is the best meal for a preacher to eat after he preaches."

It was confirmed when Pap sat down right beside him with Fried Chicken and noodles too!
He thought it was pretty funny when a friend, after hearing, said, "Preach the Word and Eat the Bird".  Eli still repeats it and thinks it's hilarious!

He went on to give Daddy a suggestion, "Maybe we can go every other Sunday".  (Crazy how quickly he forgets all the hours of work he put into his 7 minute sermon) :)

Love this little man and his passion and smile and all that he is!

2014 Kids Led Service

This past Sunday was our Kids Sunday where both our Farmer and Ney Church Services were led completely by the children!  My 4 had various parts in the Services and were looking forward to it!

The Ney Kids numbered 21 who helped to make the service a success!  The picture below is a great group of the future generation of our church.

Here is the Farmer crew with 31 helping to lead the congregation!

Ronnie and Nathaniel both played congregational hymns for the first time and did a fabulous job, especially after only a year and half of piano.

Maddie recited Romans 8:37-39 at both churches and did great!

Eli, for the second year in a row, gave the sermon.  He was so nervous and even cried when he sat down at Ney because he had forgotten some, but at Farmer he rallied and remembered it all!  Very proud!

Nathaniel, Eli and Maddie all sang at both churches and even had duets at one.  They did great.  Ronnie lead the music with the youth group as well.

All four of my babies did a fabulous job praising the Lord and leading!  I am so proud of them and Blessed to be called their Momma!

It was a great morning of worship and I believe Honored and Pleased Jesus!

Come to the Fire 2014

Had a great couple of days at Come to the Fire 2014, in Grove City!  I love being able to take women from the church and see God work in their lives.  I love the opportunity to hug necks of those friends that I haven't seen in awhile!  Most importantly I love the opportunity to worship the Lord with hundreds of women and sing and praise Him.  I love the speakers and their messages and testimonies and just the way the Lord moves through the conference that has been so bathed in prayer!  Great weekend and great time with the Lord.  He knows I needed a refreshing time with Him!

Have even had some answers to prayer already!  Yeah Jesus!  Anxious to see what else He is going to do!
