Israel...Part 1

It's been nearly a month now since we left on our trip to Israel.  It is still running through my mind, still so much to process.  We are planning to share at our churches on Sunday morning.  As we prepare it seems impossible to explain it (even in part).  A trip of a lifetime, a trip like no other!

Made possible by these 2

How do you explain something so amazing?
How do you put it into words?
How to you show 800+ pictures?
It seems impossible to even know where to start.

Do I share the Elah Valley where David fought Goliath? (while we only viewed this valley from our bus, it seemed so "real")  A huge Valley full of Philistines with the Giant Goliath slammed to the ground because of an obedient David.

Or the fact that I got to experience this whole amazing trip with my handsome hubby!

Not only him, but my whole family
Jay and I

Mom and Jo

The 8 of us together doesn't happen often and without kids, it never has!  Jesus orchestrated the whole thing and made this possible and I am so thankful.

There may never be words to describe what it is like to be on a boat on the Sea of Galilee...

or to hold mustard seed in your hand and consider faith so small...

or even to see the beautiful Jordan River

But I am Thankful!
Thankful for the opportunity!  Thankful for family!  Thankful for a trip that makes my relationship with Jesus come alive even more.
Thankful for my Savior who suffered on Calvary, for me!

Thankful and so Blessed!

First Broken Bone in the Family

10 days ago now, Eli tripped at recess and broke his arm into the growth plate.  He's been such a trooper!  His only complaint is that he can't run for awhile!
He technically hasn't slowed much, he's still goes full-boar wherever he is going, just gets yelled at to Slow Down a little more!

We went back to the orthopedic this morning and while it is healing nicely, it is still going to be in the splint for another 2 weeks!   Eli wishes they had put a cast on it - so he could run.  But the orthopedic said the ER doc did a good job setting it and he was just going to leave it splinted!

So two more weeks and then hopefully it will be healed!
Love this little guy and his adorable smile even when he is hurting!

Mini-Momma

Maddie and I are close!
We absolutely love these weeks when we don't have kids around and it is just the 2 of us!  We do everything together.  She is my little shadow.

So yesterday when I told her I had to get some work done in the office, she decided she had "office work" to do too!  She got to work setting up her desk and beginning her pile of work.

I love this little gal.  Can't imagine how I ever got along without her!

So so blessed to have a little copy cat!

What a privilege Jesus has give me!
  What a responsibility!
I pray I can be the best imitator of Jesus for this beauty He has given me!

Wilmore Week #23

It's Wilmore Week, in fact Wilmore Week is almost over!
Life is flying by and I'm desperately trying to keep up!

Ron will be back tomorrow.  He has gotten his working outline written up  - so that is fantastic!

He has a meeting today that we are continuing to pray for the Lord's guidance for!

We serve a mighty God who knows our days, nights and each tomorrow - even as they fly past us!

Thank you for your faithfulness to pray for our family.
I promise to update on Israel, broken bones and just life...soon!
