Girls Day Out

On Wednesday, Maddie and I were pretty excited!  We were invited to a Girls Day Out with Ms. Cathy and her granddaughter, Reese (who is 11 months younger than Maddie).

We were excited to get going!

 We were going to a Butterfly House.  And although I don't think Reese or Maddie knew what to expect, they were excited!  They sat in the back seat as we drove and slowly began opening up and giggling and talking.  It was fun listening to them chatter!

Then we arrived! Even before we got inside there were butterflies and beautiful flowers!  We took advantage of all of the beauty to get some pictures!  Aren't these two adorable!

Then we went inside.  The girls were again excited!  The looked all around and pointed out all the butterflies they could.  Maddie kept trying to find them and would miss some right in front of her!

There were even butterfly chairs!

But it was really hard not to get distracted!

It was so much fun to watch them get excited!  It really was a neat experience, made even more fun by these 2!

Despite Maddie's face in this picture, she loved the Butterfly House!
