Jesus Birthday

This handsome young man celebrates a Birthday today! 2 years ago today Ronnie invited Jesus to be Lord of his life! We are still rejoicing in that decision!

The big plans are to pick him up after school, along with his brother, and then we will head south to spend the night with Pap and Grandma Neff! Fun times with Grandparents as we celebrate Jesus in Ronnie life!

Another Birthday

Today was another Birthday in our house, although this one was a little different!

Today we celebrated Nathaniel's 1 year with Jesus. It was a year ago today, May 2, 2010 that Nathaniel said, "Mom, I'm ready", and asked prayed a prayer to ask Jesus into his heart!

We were talking tonight as I put him into bed and he said, "Mom, I don't think it was a year ago today?" When I asked him why he didn't think so, his response was, "cause I remember it was a Sunday!"

Smart boy! It was a Sunday and he remembers because we sat down on our bed before getting ready for church on Sunday morning. He, Daddy and I!

We are so proud of you Nathaniel and so excited to see what all Jesus has planned for you in the next year of life with Him!

Happy Jesus Birthday, Nathaniel!

Addition to previous post

If you haven't read the first post today, scroll down and read it first.

So today Ronnie took some cookies into his classmates to share and this morning we talked about what he would tell them. We prayed together that he would have BOLDNESS to share with them about Jesus. And guess what!! Jesus made him Bold!

I got an email from Ronnie's teacher this evening saying that he did "a great job sharing with the class what his spiritual birthday meant". He also shared the verse, Romans 6:23 which was the verse we had been learning in the days before Ronnie accepted Jesus as his Savior. Miss Hanson said how Ronnie's sharing had "spurned on some curiosity among the class as to when their spiritual birthday's were".

Praise the Lord, Jesus lives in Ronnie and is making him a Bold Christian!

Happy Birthday

Today Ronnie celebrates a birthday. Now for those of you who know Ronnie, you know that he was born in June, but today he celebrates another year with Jesus. It's his Spiritual Birthday.
We put a candle in his oatmeal this morning and sang to him!

So our Ronnie Lee is growing, with Jesus that is! Another year with Jesus.

We couldn't be more proud! We love you Ronnie Lee and we are excited that you walk with Jesus!

A year with JESUS

November 18 is a BIG day in our family. Today we celebrate Ronnie's 1 year birthday of asking Jesus into his heart!

We are making a big day of it. He had to go to school, but we sent cookies along so he could celebrate with his class (what better way to teach him to share his faith). We are also going to dinner tonight and I plan to read him some emails from many of you. Last year when he accepted Jesus, Ron and I were so excited we sent out a huge email to everyone to tell them how excited we were that our little man had asked Jesus to come into his heart. Many of you responded with words that Ronnie will enjoy reading one day.

So today is a celebration in our home. The boys were a little confused this morning when I began singing to Ronnie, "Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You, A whole Year with Jesus, Happy Birthday to YOU!

We were super excited last year and even more again as we celebrate.

On Nov. 18th last year, Daddy and Ronnie made this special sign and today Ronnie took it to share and sing with his class (Another great reason for Christian Education).

We love you so much Ronnie and we are so glad you are a part of Jesus' Family, a CHRISTIAN!
