Bucket List...kind of

Last week one day as we drove to Bible School - (which I might take a moment and add, went really well.  We did it with 3 churches combined on the Fruit of the Spirit and I was impressed that even my 3 year old memorized Galations5:22-23!)...

Anyway, we were on our way when I asked all 4 kids, "what is one thing you would really like to do this summer?"  I soon realized I would need to reword my question when the older 2 began spouting off different Major League parks they woudl like to attend.  So the question was, "what one thing would you like to do this summer, that does not cost a lot of money and is in fact do able?"

Eli's response was, "Play with Owen".  Owen is a little guy from our Farmer church that both Maddie and Eli enjoy playing with.  Owen also has a little sister, Lauren and my younger 2 and these 2 have a great time together.  I had to laugh as Eli told me is request.  I had already set up a play date and picnic in the park for the following day with Owen's mom!  Yippee!

 Despite Owen being a Tigers fan, Eli still thinks he's pretty cool.  You might notice though that both Eli and Owen wore their team shirts - it's a fun rivalry!

We had a fun time crossing off Eli's request for his summer bucket list!  Maddie's was a picnic, which was accomplished in the same day!  Tomorrow we are going on another one though, so I'll post pictures then!
