Believers Baptism

If you read the previous post, you know we had 3 Baptisms on Easter morning, at our 2 churches. However, one of those Baptisms was especially meaningful to our family.

Our oldest, Ronnie wanted to be Baptised!

It was an emotional service, but the biggest emotion was pride! Our little Ronnie was dedicated as a young guy at the Annual Conference of the Evangelical Church. He was also present at his Daddy's Ordination and Ron and I both remember him putting his hand up on the Bible with Daddy during that Ordination Service. Over 3 years ago now, Ronnie got up one morning and told us about being awake and thinking about his "F" Bible Verse ("For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal Life"). He had prayed and asked Jesus into his heart that morning at 5 years old!

Now here he is making a public statement of that Faith in Christ!

Ronnie was pretty nervous Sunday morning, but we are all so proud of him. He is becoming quite the little man!

I'm anxious to see all that God has in store for this guy!

When we got home, I got a picture of Ron and Ronnie as they read over the Baptism Certificate.

Then they decided they wanted another picture

and then another!

After that their craziness kicked in and they began posing!

I Love it!

I love that he is still a kid (and his Daddy is at heart) and that he is able to make BIG decisions!

Ronnie Lee we are so proud of you and the little man you are becoming with Jesus!
