Basketball, Ice Cream and a Visit

I have posted a lot this week, and yet I fell like I am behind on some things too!

A lot has happened. I really want/need to post a prayer request, but just don't have words yet. It will be coming, but in the meantime...pictures!

Last Saturday, Mike and Natalie came by with presents for the kids! They walked in with a gift, but said it was for Maddie. She tore it open and was so excited. It is a new game, called Busytown - she was ready to play immediately. Only Mr. Mike said, well boys...I have something in my car for you.

We all went out to see what was in the trunk. The boys were stunned. They didn't know what to say when Mike opened the trunk and they saw a huge box with a basketball hoop on the picture!

It didn't take them long to get talkative and excited. It did however, take longer to get it together!

The girls watched for a very short while, and then Maddie decided we needed to play her new game (multiple times). She would be happy to play with you anytime, just stop by! She loves it!

Finally the hoop was ready and the boys were too!

A friendly game of PIG!

Sorry Mike, I didn't get one of you playing with them. Or a picture of our many games with Natalie and Maddie! Thank you so much for the gifts, they were both huge hits!

On Monday a friend called right before lunch and asked if we would like to go out for lunch, her treat! I was thrilled to get out with the younger two and just get my mind off of being at home, without Daddy!

Eli and Maddie both enjoyed an Ice Cream Sandwich from DQ. You can't see all the chocolate on their noses in the pictures, but it was cute! They really enjoyed them. Thanks Ms. Cathy for a fun treat!

Then Tuesday morning we went to visit Ms. Cleda. Usually on Tuesday mornings Marilyn and I pray together at the church while Maddie and Eli enjoy the nursery. We decided to go visit Cleda and have some a morning snack of tea an cookies with her! It is fun to visit with Cleda, Eli enjoys it too!

So...we have tried to keep busy these past few days!
We are anxiously awaiting Daddy's return!

Soon...very soon!
