Ball Players and Bat(ter) Boy

I got a couple of pictures tonight before we raced off to the game.  It's so much easier when Daddy can take the boys and Maddie and I can walk down to the park later!  Oh well, we'll manage for one more game on Thursday!

Aren't they just the most handsome ball players!?!

 Eli's shirt was delivered last night right before bedtime!  He was so excited he wanted to wear it to bed!  I finally convinced him to let me wash it first! 

He has become the Bat(ter) Boy for the boys team.  "Batter Boy" is the term he has used from the very beginning.  Ronnie and Nathaniel tried to correct him early on, but his response was simply, "I just say it fast, Batter Boy".  So it has stuck.  Most of the parents even call him the Batter Boy! 

So here he is, our BATTER BOY!

The boys won their 2nd game tonight.  They both did well.  Both had doubles and did pretty good fielding too!  Out Batter Boy did well too.  They were all pretty tired though!
