The boys had 2 games this week! Last year you may remember they were in "Pee Wee" which is Coach Pitch. Now they have moved up to Minor League (9 and 10 year old) which is the first league for kid pitch!
Both boys wanted to try their hand at pitching.
So I'll break down their first week for you!
Ronnie first!
2 games
4 innings
9 strike-outs!
6 walks (several went to full count)
6 hits (some were errors, so they may not be considered hits)
He did fantastic! He has some serious speed to his pitches! He even grunts when he delivers the pitch!
Then Nathaniel,
2 games
5 innings
11 strike outs!
6 walks (again several went to full count)
(One of his walks was a hit batter hit. The poor kid got hit hard, but seems to be ok)
No hits
He also did fantastic! We have to remind ourselves he is an 8 year old in a 9,10 yo league!
