My parents decided last year that they wanted to start spending quality time with their 10 grand kids, only to do quality they decided that meant 1 on 1! They started with the oldest, my niece, last summer. So this summer was Ronnie's turn. The great thing about their 10 grand kids is that until the last 4 they were one year at a time! So they will take one a summer the year they turn 9!
Ron took Ronnie on Monday morning to Ft. Wayne where they met Pap and Grandma for breakfast. From there Ronnie, Pap and Grandma spent the next couple of days in Indy. They went to an Indianapolis, Indians game, which Ronnie loved! They went to the Spaghetti Warehouse, which Ronnie loved! They went to the Indianapolis Children's Museum, which Ronnie loved! They ate shrimp and KFC (not in the same meal) which Ronnie loved! And much more!
Ronnie had a great time with his grandparents! They returned him to us today around lunchtime and we were all 5 so anxious to see him. His little brothers and sister missed him and he missed them too. It was a fun reunion, after only 2 days!
