First Day

Yesterday was the beginning of another school year for Ronnie and Nathaniel.  Ronnie is beginning 4th grade and Nathaniel 3rd!  But yesterday was the very first day for Eli!  Wow, my little big man is starting Kindergarten!  I can't believe it.  He was so excited he couldn't sleep on Sunday evening, he was up at 10:00 still thinking about things that would happen the next day.

Here they are, the school boys!

And there little sis, who is so proud and so not sure what it means!

I'll have to explain this one in another post!

For years I have thought of Eli as BIG.  He is a big boy, but the last couple of days he seemed so small.  He still has those "BIG" brown eyes and that "HUGE" personality, but with that BIG backpack strapped on his back, he looked "little" to me!  My little man - joining his Big brothers in school -wow, what will I do without him around!?!

Ron took the boys to school yesterday and walked Eli into his classroom.  He said he was not stop chatter - a nervous chatter, but an excitement!  Here he was, finally in school!

Then he picked him up yesterday afternoon - Ron asked him what his favorite thing was about his first day.
Eli's response, "Rest time. Cause I needed it"!
(that will go down in the quote book)
