Christmas 2013

Christmas with 4 kids is crazy and fun and just non-stop!

Christmas morning started out slow...

but it didn't take long for everyone to wake up.

The best thing about our Christmas this year was the kids involvement.  This year we gave them all a few dollars and sent them to the dollar store to shop for one another.  It was exciting for me to watch as they gave each other gifts.  Eli especially enjoyed giving.  All 4 kids thought through their gifts and took time to make them meaningful.  Ronnie handed the money back saying he was able to cover his with his own money!  Love that my kids are growing up and wanting to give and are excited about giving and not just receiving!

This year was a year of games.  We need to get a new game cabinet because we got so many games this year.  Here the boys are enjoying an NFL board game.

While I didn't take as many pictures this year and document our family time, we have had a good time just being together.

As we draw to the end of 2013, we are so thankful for Jesus Birth, so thankful for the gift our Creator gave us of His son and we continue to look forward with anticipation for His coming again!

Come Quickly Lord Jesus!
